Taquaruçu

Roncadeira Waterfall

Taquaruçu Crafts

The raw material to produce the Taquaruçu crafts are the palm of babaçu and buriti palm trees. Are also used the recycled wood and maize straw waste. From these materials are made utensils and ornaments. The local artisans cook up pieces such as baskets, hats, lamps, floral arrangements, dolls and furniture like benches, tables and chairs.

Adrenalin in the heights The Tiroleza Voo do Pontal is the largest in operation in Brazil. It is 600 meters from the sea level, 150m above the floor and 1.300m long. The jump of pure adrenaline takes around one minute. It is located 2 km from the Taquaruçu centre.
